In my opinion, the best is through recommendations from family members, friends or anyone who has positive experiences engaging the feng shui consultant before. No amount of awards, international reviews beat that, me included. Today’s artificial intelligence or technology has reached a stage where fake reviews, synthetic reviews, or automated review spam is not unusual. Guess what we are in Feng Shui Period 9 remember 😉 . This trend is going to last for 2 decades (2024-2043).
Here is my self advertisement. If you wanted a master that uses Classical Chinese metaphysics in today’s modern applications that will be me. Which is how i started my learning in 1994.
Master Chan’s feng shui journey began in 1994. Born out of necessity and a personal challenge. After purchasing a new home under his wife advisement, he sought feng shui counsel from top masters in Singapore.
He did not take up any of the offer. Finding the advices given and the expensive feng shui products they promote fall short of logical reasoning and proof. Out of curiosity and a desire for real answers, he decided to teach himself from ground up.
What started as a personal quest in 1994 to understand his home feng shui soon evolved into a passionate, lifelong professional career rooted in diverse classical metaphysics schools of learning, experiments, evidence and results.
Free from limitation of a single lineage. Master Chan adapt and synthesize multi-schools of feng shui and applied of his own. Fitted in today’s context, distilling original classical principles of feng shui, bazi, qi men and others to deliver objective, result-driven outcomes.
Classical metaphysics fengshui algorithm
Authentic Feng Shui studies the layout of space and energy calculation 形气兼备. While cultural traditions like rolling pineapples on key-collection day maybe fun, authentic feng shui is analyzing, calculating and maximizing Earth’s resources 在天成象，在地成形 based on a systematic approach.
Many modern day feng shui applications have become intertwined with religious beliefs of individual practitioners. Therefore it is common to see sale of talisman, amulets, kai guang (开光 ) items, 符 (fú) spell…
However if you dive deeper. You will discover countless of classical metaphysics of feng shui, bazi, qimen purely based on formulas, principles and calculations.
Just to name a few popular ones are 蔣大鴻-陽宅指南 沈竹礽-沈氏玄空學 杨筠松-八宅明镜 ba zhai， bazi 造化元钥-徐乐吾重编 李虚中命书, 滴天髓阐微-徐乐吾整理 and so many more.
I am more of a science, logic, practical and result-driven person so i used the computation models of metaphysics.
The landscape of metaphysics is vast. Popular systems such as San He (三合), San Yuan Xuan Kong Flying Star (三元玄空), Qi Men Dun Jia (奇门遁甲), Ba Zi (八字), Zi Wei Dou Shu (紫微斗数), Ba Zhai (八宅), Wu Xing (五行) and Da Gua (玄空大卦). Interestingly, these schools overlapped yet hold conflicting views—a natural consequence of progress.
Feng Shui and Bazi formulas are inherently hidden, ambiguous and contradictory. Driven by pure passion and curiosity, he embarked on a lifelong journey of rigorous, systematic learning.
